Dr. Alex Cayon graduated with honors from the University of South Florida achieving the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then The University of Houston conferring the degree of Doctor of Optometry. He is a Board Certified Optometric Physician licensed to practice in Florida and Texas. Dr. Cayon has worked at the Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson  CO, the Keesler Air Force Base Regional Medical Center Hospital in Biloxi MS, and the Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital in St. Petersburg FL. He also did pre and post- op care at a Lasik Surgery Center in Tampa FL for 3 years with over 10,000 Lasik procedures, and pre and post- op care at a Cataract Surgical Medical Office in Plant City FL for 5 years. Dr. Alex Cayon’s Optometry practice has been serving Lakeland, Hillsborough County, and Polk County area patients since 1991.
